Warblewo, Pomeranian Voivodeship

Warblewo (German ''Warbelow'') is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Słupsk, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Central Statistical Office (GUS) - TERYT (National Register of Territorial Land Apportionment Journal) )〕 It lies approximately south-east of Słupsk and west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Before 1945 the area of Farther Pomerania, where the village is located, was part of Germany.〔Karl-Heinz Pagel: ''Der Landkreis Stolp in Pommern''. Lübeck 1989, pp. 1008-1012 ((Download ''Description of village Warbelow'', in German ))〕 On March 8th, 1945, the region was occupied by the Red Army, and after the end of World War II it was put under Polish administration. The inhabitants were expelled. For the history of the region, see ''History of Pomerania''.
The village has a population of 267.
